The Next Reel International Film Festival

The Next Reel International Film Festival is a biennial event organized by New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. It is the oldest international student film festival of its kind organized in the United States. During the week-long festival, young filmmakers from coveted film schools all over the world will compete for cash awards and prizes.


Hosted in Singapore

In 2012, Next Reel International Film Festival returns once again to Singapore. The festival is scheduled to take place from 5 – 10 February 2012, organized by the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television.

We will be hosting young filmmakers from 34 coveted film schools in 19 countries. They will be in Singapore for the Next Reel International Film Festival and 64 short films will be presented alongside workshops conducted by film professionals.
